"A deeply dialectic art�, as Paolo Rizzi defines the art of Moreno Panozzo, an international artist who, thanks to his originality and brilliance, now comes to the most distant continent. A continent geographically far distant, but very closed to us for its attention towards new artistic expressions. The Cultural Institut has invited the artist Moreno Panozzo to represent the contemporary art in the Australian continent through three events which will take place at the same time in three different places: on 3 February 2010 at the Italian Cultural Institut in Sydney and at the Milk Factory Art Gallery and, from 16 February, even at the Italian Cultural Institut in Camberra. A catalog has been published for this special event, with a new cover dedicated to a mixed technique work by Moreno Panozzo: a mix of painting and sculpture, a work made of old tyres completely recycled and transformed. In this work Panozzo wants to stress the importance of recycling. To be an Artist today does not mean only to create something unique, something beautiful, but it also means to open a dialogue, to make the observer more aware, to pay attention to the problems of our planet. This is one of the characteristics that makes Panozzo’s artwork so recognizable. “Trying to shape the material and give it a new dimension and a new light is for Panozzo a constant challenge ".
